Koshish Piramal School

Koshish Piramal School for Deaf and Mute in Malad East, Mumbai, India, is dedicated to providing education and empowerment to 80 deaf and mute children. Deaf and mute students at Koshish come from low income communities. Our institute offers vocational courses and aims to help these children integrate into society.

One of our unique selling points is our focus on teaching children to lip-read and imitate sounds with the help of hearing aids, setting us apart from other similar institutes that primarily focus on sign language.

The institute is a 20000 sq.ft centre with facilities of school, vocational classes, speech & audiology room along with a gallery to showcase the works of students to raise awareness and to allow fundraising activities.
